Sinossi
Erich Vön Daniken, Peter Kolosimo, Graham Hancock: the world’s great authors of mystery archaeology. Nothing compared to the immense Pietro Puddu, the man who unveiled the arcane and magical world of the island of Sardinia. No one knows where Professor Puddu is, having disappeared in the fog of his own research. Tore and Dante, two characters from the academic precariat, set out in search of the great scholar of the occult in order to create a podcast with disturbing and unexpected implications.
Tres animeddas explores the genre of black comedy, noir and road movie, with comic and farcical tones, moving in the intricate and controversial world of anthropology and science fiction archaeology.
The journey undertaken by the protagonists will give rise to a series of surreal encounters with various characters linked in some way to the professor’s disappearance, encounters that are always on the ‘edge of reality’. The film is thus a sort of small Sardinian noir that, as in all noir tales, sees its characters fretting within a tangle of mysteries that always end up, in the end, in a big nothing.
