The loneliness of the city feels immense for an indigenous teen like James, who is fighting for his happiness, innocence, and above all, to not feel abandoned in the urban vastness. Only now James is beginning to realize that building his own path means destroying those of others.
Biografia
Andrés Rodríguez is a Guatemalan filmmaker. His debut film, Roza, was selected for various international festivals, including the Costa Rica IFF, the Guanajuato IFF, the Locarno IFF, the Vancouver LIFF, and the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival. He is currently developing the feature film Los Invisibles, a project he presented at co-production events such as Locarno Open Doors and the 36th Guadalajara Film Festival. His short film James was selected for the Orizzonti Short Film Competition at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.
