Isola (80 years old), now a widow, spends her time alone in the place where she lives, a small town in the province of Cagliari, in Sardinia. Here she awaits the moment of her departure, at the mercy of the usual routine and the slow passage of time, hoping to be able to rejoin her beloved husband.
Biografia
Giulia Fo was born in Fiesole and lives in the province of Cagliari, where she grew up practicing dance, singing, and acting. After earning a diploma in Social Sciences and gaining experience in theatre, she studied graphic design, photography, film, and marketing. She wrote and directed the short films Sono qui, resta and Isola.
