Cast in Bronze is a short film set in the Nuragic era, directed by Mario Giua Marassi, written together with the historian Andrea Garau and produced with the support of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and the Sardegna Film Commission Foundation. The film aims to enhance the Sardinian historical and cultural heritage, dispelling common stereotypes about ancient Sardinian society. It tells the love story between Iscurti and Ietocor, two young people hindered by the rigid social rules of their era. The film was shot in Sardinia and uses the Proto-Sardinian language, with subtitles in different languages. Cast in Bronze celebrates Sardinia’s landscape, archaeological and monumental heritage for a wider audience.

Biografia

Italian creative, director and visual artist, born in 1977 in Cagliari. Trained at the New York Film Academy, he founded Go To Net Studios in 2001, a creative agency, production and advertising post-production house. Winner of numerous national and international awards, including nine Italian advertising “Oscars”, he is one of the main authors called upon by institutions and private brands to export Made in Sardinia to the world. He was a teacher of Directing and audiovisual languages at the European Institute of Design in Cagliari.
