Cast in Bronze is a short film set in the Nuragic era, directed by Mario Giua Marassi, written together with the historian Andrea Garau and produced with the support of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and the Sardegna Film Commission Foundation. The film aims to enhance the Sardinian historical and cultural heritage, dispelling common stereotypes about ancient Sardinian society. It tells the love story between Iscurti and Ietocor, two young people hindered by the rigid social rules of their era. The film was shot in Sardinia and uses the Proto-Sardinian language, with subtitles in different languages. Cast in Bronze celebrates Sardinia’s landscape, archaeological and monumental heritage for a wider audience.
