Sinossi
It is in their dualism, both physical and psychological, that the femminielli, an ancient figure of Neapolitan popular culture, live their daily lives, feeling both women and men at the same time. They are strongly integrated into the social fabric and often represent a spiritual and religious point of reference for the community. In a context of constantly evolving social models, many centuries-old traditions linked to this figure still survive today.
