Sinossi

The Val Pô is one of the 13 Italian valleys of the Langue d’Oc. The village of Ostana, recognized for its exceptional traditional architecture, has also become one of the highlights of Occitan culture in a few years. Every year, writers and artists who speak a minority language meet there. From Monviso, following the Po River, passing through Ostana, we meet the Occitans who bear witness to their country, as do the artists who come to present their works in their mother tongue.

Biografia

Eliane Tourtet was born in a small village in Drôme Provençale, in the south of France. From an early age, she was interested in Occitan, the language spoken in her family, and studied it at school. Having become a journalist for a regional television, she worked in French for several programs but also and especially for the Occitan program Vaquí, based in Marseille. Investing in the promotion and preservation of the Occitan language and culture, she produced reports on the different Occitan regions.
