In 1968 a small group of youngsters from Alghero squatted in one of the towers of the Muraglia di Alghero, living exclusively out of fishing and dressing extravagantly, until they had to flee, feeding for decades the myth of the Tupamaros of Alghero, a unique phenomenon in Sardinia. The film retraces their story with some of its protagonists.
Biografia
Born in Vic, Catalonia, in 1980, Roger Cassany is a journalist, audiovisual producer, and professor at the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona. He has served as editor-in-chief of VilaWeb and director of Diari de Barcelona. As a director, he has helmed documentaries such as Alimentando la Habana, L’Alguer, un pentagrama com un carrer, and Eivissa, tresor pagès.
