The story follows a group of friends on their final day together at their favorite field before it’s turned into a shopping mall. As their bonds are tested and they drift apart, Pidge—the youngest of the group—struggles to make sense of the changes around her. As the day unfolds, it becomes clear that her perception of reality holds a hidden truth. A tale of friendship, loss, and the inevitability of change.
Biografia
Matilda Butler is a filmmaker from the Rame Peninsula in Cornwall. In 2020, she directed her first short film, Blue Cocoon, followed by Voyager, funded by the Screen Cornwall Graduate Short Scheme. She has worked as a filmmaker and workshop leader for FotoNow CIC in Plymouth. Currently, she is in the second year of her MA in Artists Film and Moving Image at Goldsmiths University and has exhibited her work as part of the Murmers exhibition. Her films explore themes of landscape and connection.
