1990s. A radio station run by the local power publicly denigrates people who do not align themselves with the hateful provincial conformism. When Mariaelena suffers the harassment of the Colora Fustinaja (that’s the name of the radio: whipping snake), three reckless friends followed by an elderly ex-alcoholic poet decide to oppose this situation (Falamus literally means “let’s go down” but the more appropriate translation is “let’s fight” or “let’s rise up”).
Biografia
Paolo Lubinu was born in Sassari and holds a degree in Humanities. After years of self-taught writing for theatre and film, he attended a film school and screenwriting courses. In 2010, he co-founded Underground X, an independent music and culture magazine. He has published the novel Jesù Cristu ‘Etz and the short story collection Vampiri Urbani.
